Travel Daydreams in 2023

As we make our way through 2023, I already have a new year of travel on my mind. After a hectic holiday season, I truly enjoyed a few quiet weeks at home to help me recharge. Now, I’m starting to feel the itch for travel with daydreams of the possibilities for the months ahead. Although I haven’t even begun to plan any trip this year, a feat that makes me anxious, here’s a quick list of where I hope to venture to this year.
Harbour Island. How has it nearly been two years since our last visit to this beautiful Bahamian paradise? I honestly think the Dunmore Hotel is heaven on earth and can’t wait to sit at their iconic little bar with a round or two of Goombay Smashes.
Bermuda. David and I have our 5th wedding anniversary this year in July. My, how do the years fly by?! We want to return to this stunning little island to celebrate, specifically to relax at the Hamilton Princess Beach Club.
Charleston. Can you believe I’ve never been here? This Spring, I hope to have a quick girl’s trip with one of my dearest friends who used to live here. She’s been dying to get me here to show off the town, and 2023 seems the best time to do it!
Ireland. If we only could pick one European destination this year, it would have to be Ireland. Considering it’s our ancestral homeland, it makes sense for us to pay it a visit. Starting in Dublin, we daydream about road-tripping through the countryside and visiting all of the picturesque towns along the way.
NYC. The city that stole my heart is always on my to-do list. No trips have been planned yet, but I am manifesting many trips in 2023. Wouldn’t it be grand just to pop up for cocktails at Bemelmans Bar? I joke, but we’ve become dangerously close to making this extravagant day trip a reality.
