Dress (Similar) || Similar Sandals || Handbag || Earrings || Bracelet

Is being a grand millennial still a thing? I know it was trendy last year, thank you for sheltering in place, and it’s been on my radar for a few years. Since I think it’s more of a lifestyle than a quickly cyclical trend, it’s a style that I’ve brought into the end of 2021 and beyond. If you have a loved one who is like-minded and loves impeccable florals, needlepoints, and ruffles, this is the gift guide for you. Here are 12 gift ideas for the grand millennial: a girl with an older soul and a strong sense of self!

Moiré Headband

Hill House is a grand millennials paradise with everything in their collection being an absolute winner! While I could go on about how perfect their Nap Dresses are, I think their Alice Headband would make the perfect stocking stuffer. Lightly stuffed and handmade in Italy, it’s the kind of accessory you can wear all day! I love the pink moirĂ© pick, but the tartan is just perfect for the holidays.

Floral and Pearl Earrings

Floral and pearl go together for the grand millennial like peanut butter and jelly. These darling earrings are an instant classic. I can envision wearing them daily because they already work with about 80% of my wardrobe. In truth, they are a bit of a splurge but are something that your loved one will cherish for decades to come.

Lettuceware Tea Cup

Lettuceware of any variety was a hot item in Palm Beach, Florida, during the 1960s. There’s something so fun and whimsical about them. For whatever reason, it gives me visions of a tea party from Alice in Wonderland. This cup and saucer set from Tory Burch are perfect to start a collection. Be sure to include your favorite flavor of tea bags for a complete gift.

Blockprint Maxi Dress

Banjanan has long been one of my favorite designers. The blockprint florals are always absolutely stunning and perfect for wearing during the long Florida summer. I like to pack a handful of their dresses and tops on every beach vacation. While I’m wearing one that’s perfect for a warm Christmas morning, I also brought the pink dress on our last trip to Harbour Island. It’s comfortable, flattering, and has pockets!

Mahjong Tile Set

Just the word Mahjong makes some people think about a Palm Springs retirement community, but it’s having a very chic comeback. Playing it on the phone is an excellent way to pass the time. That’s why I love this beautiful floral set from the Mahjong Line. Gift a set this holiday season and play during cocktail hour. This is most certainly not your grandma’s Mahjong.

Travel Coffee Table Book

Has anyone had a serious case of wanderlust since the year, well, 2020? Daydreaming about travel keeps me sane and happy all year round, but it gets heightened closer to the new year. A new calendar, a whole opportunity to schedule wonderful trips! These coffee table books from Assouline are inspired by some of the most incredible destinations in the world: Tuscany, Palm Beach, Mykonos, the list goes on and on. Gift a favorite to your most jet-set of friends and start their very own collection.

Embroidered Rattan Clutch

Maybe it’s because I live in the Sunshine State, but I have a deep love for anything rattan! It adds a fun coastal element to any outfit. Gifts a handbag or clutch to your loved on now, and they can use it on their next great vacation. Pamela Munson is one of my favorite destinations for rattan, and this Julia Amory collaboration clutch is too perfect!

Quirky Needlepoint Canvas

Needlepoint has taken the grand millennial world by storm and has seen the greatest resurgence. My grandma taught me how to crochet and cross-stitch, but in 2022 I hope to give needlepointing a try. Etsy is flush with whimsical or tongue-in-cheek canvas, but always be sure to look at the gems from Lycette. Pick one that suits your loved one’s personality.

Oversize Sun Hat

This gift is for the grand-millennial who loves to be out in the sun. This year purchased a Sarah Bray hat for myself, and it made its big debut on our most recent trip to Harbour Island. If your loved one prefers to spend the day in the garden or at the beach, then this wide-brimmed hat will be perfect for her! There is a rainbow of ribbons to choose from, or you can opt for an exceptional vintage floral one instead.

Journal and Pen Set

I would write in my diary every night when I was a kid. It was where my love for writing first began. While that has transitioned over to blogging, I still keep a journal handy with me at all times. I’ve become an ardent list maker, but I also like to jot down ideas and copy when the mood strikes. A journal set would make a thoughtful gift for the girl who likes to stay device-free. Add a striking pen for a complete set!

Ladylike Floral Heels

Sarah Flint may very well be the queen of grand millennial style. Her entire line of pristinely designed shoes are made with classic style in mind! I have an ever-growing collection of her heels, flats, and sandals. The next pair on my dream list are these ladylike floral heels. The cerise floral fabric will somehow work as a neutral and paired with all kinds of colors. If heels are not your style, they also come in her signature Natalie Flats, along with a darling barrette and headband. Use with my code SARAHFLINT-BAKATIE for $50 off your first pair!

Coupé Glass Set

If you’ve been following me for a while, then you probably know that a coupé glass set from Estelle’s Colored Glass is almost always on my gift guides. That’s because they are simply stunning and deserve to have a place on the bar cart. They come in a rainbow of colors (literally) and come in stemmed, seamless, and coupe options. Pick a style and shade that best matches the hostess’ style, and they may be tempted to use them right away.

grand millennial, gift guide, Christmas, Holiday shopping

I know in my heart that the grand millennial style isn’t a trend, but more so a lifestyle! I promise you it’s here to stay. Shopping for the traditional set in your life couldn’t be easier. Who knows, you’ll probably end up loving something for yourself! Happy gifting!

Katie

Gift Guide for the Fitness Guru

December 1, 2021

Gift Guide for the Fitness Guru
📍 St. Pete, Florida

Therapy Massager || Sports Earbuds || Fitness Smartwatch || Weighted Bangles || Running Shoes || Gingham Crop Tank and Bike Shorts || Clean Eating Cookbook || Smart Jump Rope || Mineral Salt Soaks || Self-Cleaning Water Bottle || Gingham Yoga Mat || Sports Detergent

Fitness, Gift Guide, Holidays, Exercise, Health

Crop Top (Also) || Sports Bra || Bike Shorts || Sneakers || Similar Hat

If I ask you about the fitness guru in your life, you probably don’t need any time to think of who they are. These are the loved ones who inspire you to happily join a gym, sign up for every 5K in town, or begin their day with a rigorous workout. While no two exercise buffs will be the exact same, it’s always nice to have a starting point that works no matter their interest. This fitness gift guide is dedicated to all of the friends and family members who don’t need to make exercise a resolution because they live it every day.

Therapy Massager

What can I say that hasn’t already been said about Theragun? Even if you’re not a professional athlete, a deep massage can do such wonders for your body and mind. This Mini Percussive Therapy Massager is small enough to fit in any gym bag and can help beat tension or knots on the fly.

Sports Earbuds

I’m someone who has to listen to music during a workout. It doesn’t matter if it’s a run, a spin class, or a relaxing yoga session. Music helps me keeping pushing forward. These Sports Earbuds from Bose are specially designed for even the most high-performance of workouts. With water-repellant speakers and 5 hours of battery life, these little guys are with you for the long haul.

Fitness Smartwatch

I know so many who swear by their Apple Watch, but that’s just not something I’ve been able to get myself into. I value my time away from devices too much. Instead, you can track all of your workout essentials with this Smartwatch, at a fraction of the price. Steps, calories, and mileage are just the beginning, all while synching up with your phone to save the data.

Fitness, Gift Guide, Holidays, Exercise, Health

Weighted Bangles

Weighing just a pound each, the bangle set can be added to nearly any workout or just worn around the house. Bala offers an entire line of sleek tools to really up their training. Simply pick a favorite color, and you can gift a complete set!

Running Shoes

To me, this is the ultimate athletic Christmas gift! There have been spans of time, where I ask for a new pair of running shoes for back-to-back birthdays and holidays. APL is one of the most comfortable brands you can find, plus they look so chic! These sneakers may very well become your go-to for workouts, errands, and everything in between.

Gingham Crop Tank and Bike Shorts

It probably comes as no surprise, but I simply love gingham! I’ve had my eye on this baby blue tank and bike shorts set for a while. I actually just ordered these for myself and can’t wait to show off at my next spin class. If you know your loved one has a preference for full-length leggings vs. bike shorts, no worries! That’s an option to shop too!

Fitness, Gift Guide, Holidays, Exercise, Health

Clean Eating Cookbook

Healthy living not only takes place at the gym, but in the kitchen as well! This Clean Eating Cookbook is filling with 130 recipes that taste great, make you feel good, and are simple to make. Just throw the ingredients in a slow cooker and you can forget about it while you work, exercise, or simply live your life!

Smart Jump Rope

Sometimes I truly marvel how far technology has come! This Smart Jump Rope reminds me of the days when I would play with a Skip-It at recess. This 21st century version tracks your exercise data, programs your workout, and even lets you compete with friends. Because jump roping is a great core exercise, you’ll feel results in no time at all!

Mineral Salt Soaks

Even the most in-shape people need a moment to relax. After a particularly grueling workout, there’s nothing more satisfying than a long shower or bubble bath. The Lavender Honey in this aromatherapeutic soak will instantly put you at ease and smells fantastic! Feel free to take as long as you need to with your self-care.

Self-Cleaning Water Bottle

If we’re being honest, I’m very guilty of leaving my water bottle in the car or workout bag for days, even weeks, at a time. While that’s not the best of habits, this Self-Cleaning Water Bottle from LARQ can at least give me peace of mind. The patented technology uses UV-C LED light to eliminate nearly 100% of viruses and bacteria in just 60 seconds. Plus with the double-insulation, your water can stay ice cold during the sweatiest of workouts.

Gingham Yoga Mat

Again, I’m back on the gingham, but can you really blame me? With this design, you’ll have the cutest yoga mat in the studio. More importantly, it has no-slip backing and 6mm of thickness for extra comfort. Combine with the gingham tank and shorts set to be perfectly coordinated. The only thing that’s missing is a gingham water bottle. Oh wait! It’s right here!

Sports Detergent

Properly washing all of your exercise gear can sometimes seem like a workout in itself. Because they have a special fabric, they deserve special treatment. I’ve long been a fan of the Laundress to keep all of my clothes looking their best. That’s especially true for their Sport Detergent. You can also tell this company really cares because they use plant-derived ingredients, have 100% recyclable packaging, and never test their products on animals. Feel good about what you gift!

Fitness, Gift Guide, Holidays, Exercise, Health

And just like the fitness guru in your life is shopped for. I hope you found the 12 picks in this gift guide helpful and inspiring. At an entire spectrum of price points, there’s something for everyone. Maybe you’ll even buy something for yourself to start the new year on the right foot!

Katie

Gift Guide for Under $100

November 29, 2021

Gift Guide for Under $100
📍St. Petersburg, Florida

Grecian-Inspired Planter || 2022 Floral Calendar || Fig Tree Candle || Spongeware Pitcher || Monogrammed Hand Towel || Striped Shirt Nightgown || Bala Weighted Bangle Set || Lucite Statement Earrings || Custom Stationary || Perfume and Hand Lotion Set || Vintage Board Game || Handmade Silk Socks || Classic Diner-Inspired Mug and Coffee || Travel Coffee Table Book

Especially if you have long list of loved ones to shop for this holiday season, you may need to be on a budget. That’s why each year, I am so happy to create a list of gifts for under $100. In this case, they just look like they were a splurge, but with a fraction of the price tag. Shop for your family, friends, co-workers, and whoever else you want to add to your list. Here’s my official gift guide for great ideas under $100 that fit any and all personalities.

Holiday, Christmas Shopping, Gift Guide, Under $100

Outfit: Button-Down Shirt (Save with code KATIEKENNEDY) || Similar Skirt || Similar Heels ($50 off with code SARAHFLINT-BAKATIE) || Handbag || Earrings || Lip Color

Grecian-Inspired Planter

These adorable Grecian inspired planters certainly give big Plant Lady energy. Because they are handprinted cement, they can be both for indoor and outdoor varieties. Gift one with a favorite piece of greenery already selected, or make it a set with two different sizes. This planter will make for a welcome addition to any home.

2022 Floral Calendar

For almost 20 years, I would always receive a desk calendar and wall calendar to celebrate the new year. The themes changed over time, but my love of calendars and planners has stayed strong. This floral calendar from San Fransisco artist, LouLou Baker, is absolutely beautiful! It’s a surefire way to dress up a desk or nightstand in an instant.

Fig Tree Candle

Although my fir tree candle is currently aglow as we speak, I know the scent is a bit too seasonal to use beyond the holidays. Diptyque candles are always a crowd-pleaser, especially as hostess gifts. They have an entire library of scents that will inspire and amaze. The Fig Tree is always highly recommended, and for a good reason! It’s not too masculine or feminine but still has a warm feel.

Spongeware Pitcher

The 19th-century English stoneware inspired this hand-painted Spongeware Pitcher from Tory Burch. It certainly brightens up a tablescape and can be matched with an entire collection of serving ware. For the most thoughtful presentation, gift with a bouquet of fresh flowers or your favorite cocktail recipe.

Monogrammed Hand Towel

Thoughtfully monogrammed pieces don’t have to blow your budget. Weezie Towels is one of my favorite women-founded companies to work with. While I practically live in my Short Robe, a set of Hand Towels is a perfect gift under $100. Whether it’s the newly engaged friend, college students, or anyone in between, this customized gift is sure to delight.

Striped Shirt Nightgown

A set of pajamas always seem like a quintessential holiday present. There are a million options under the sun, but Lake Pajamas should be your first destination. While I am typically partial to their short sets, this Evergreen Poplin Nightshirt just screams Christmas! All you have to do is slip on a pair of Camp Socks to stay extra warm.

Holiday, Christmas Shopping, Gift Guide, Under $100

Bala Weighted Bangle Set

While I have a gift guide for the Fitness Guru coming out later this week, I wanted to give a quick sneak peek. Weighing just a pound each, the bangle set can be added to nearly any workout or just worn around the house. Bala offers an entire line of sleek tools to really up their training. Simply pick a favorite color, and you can gift a complete set!

Lucite Statement Earrings

The pastel green of these earrings is perfect for adding a statement to your holiday soiree outfit. Because they are made of lucite, they are as light and air. Gift them to your favorite jewelry lover, and they can be worn from work into date night and beyond! Shashi is always a favorite for costume jewelry and accessories. There’s simply so much to love!

Custom Stationary

Writing letters is an art formed and whole-heartedly deserves a resurgence. After all, how wonderful is it to receive a piece of snail mail? These custom notecards from Laura Vogel will be sure to help inspire. Pass them along to your friends and family to create a wonderful pen-pal situation!

Holiday, Christmas Shopping, Gift Guide, Under $100

Perfume and Lotion Set

Last Christmas, I was gifted a complete set of perfume, body lotion, and body wash for one of my favorite Tocca perfumes that I’ve been faithfully wearing for a few years. Each time I showered, I ended up feeling like I was in a constant spa day. For under the $100 mark, you can gift either an entire menu of perfumes or stick to one to make a complete scent.

Vintage Board Game

I absolutely love this one so much! It’s actually on my own Christmas list. This special edition of Clue created just for Anthropologie, features a vintage design inspired by the game’s first published in 1949. Gift at your next holiday party, and let the mystery begin! If Clue’s not their game, you can also pick from Scattergories, Monopoly, and Catch Phrase.

Handmade Silk Socks

Are silk socks the height of luxury? They just may be, and now you can gift them to your loved ones. Handmade in Italy, they will seem like the biggest splurge. I see these as a perfect stocking stuffer or a fun pick for a White Elephant party. At this price point, you may even want to buy a pair for yourself!

Classic Diner-Inspired Mug and Coffee

This pick is a small homage to my favorite coffee spot in the Upper East Side. I would visit Ralph’s at least once a week. It was the perfect spot to read the paper, get some work done, or simply watch the world pass. Sometimes, I find myself daydreaming of being back among the fashion, the coffee, and their delicious scones. Before we moved from the city, I brought home one of their coffee mugs, and it’s one of my favorites. Add along with a bag of Ralph’s coffee, or swap it for a coffee that is local to your city. Remember to support and shop small as often as you can!

Gift Card to a Favorite

Last but certainly not least is the mighty gift card. They can be last minute, are easy to ship, and are entirely customizable. I personally love receiving a card from a store that I love. That way, I specifically pick out what I need or save it for a rainy day. If you’re stumped on what to get, pick one up from your loved one’s favorite store, and they will still highly appreciate the gesture.

Holiday, Christmas Shopping, Gift Guide, Under $100

So many incredible gifts and even better price points! You’ll be tempted to slip some of these under your own Christmas tree, but wrap them up just for you. After all, don’t you deserve a little treat?

Love from Florida,
Katie
