In My World
- It was a relatively quiet week here. It felt like I had a lot of work to accomplish on my to-do list, so it felt amazing to be able to buckle down and focus. So much was checked off and I hope to have that productivity roll into the next week!
- Brennan had a doctor’s appointment Thursday afternoon. It turned into a gorgeous day, so afterward we treated ourselves to a quick lunch at Rowayton Seafood. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area, especially during warmer days when we can sit outside.
- Although we’re still trying to finalize a lot of travel for this year, I did have the pleasure of booking the Gasparilla Inn as part of our Thanksgiving holiday. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know how much I love this destination and how much it means to me. November can’t get here soon enough!
Currently Coveting
- LOFT is having their Spring Bash Sale where (nearly) everything is 50% off. It’s the perfect time to add some classic pieces for Spring. Shop the edit to see my favorite pieces, including the moto jacket I’ve already added to my closet.
- On a whim, I bought a black pair of Perfect Block Sandals from Sarah Flint. I’ve owned and loved my Sand pair for years. They are truly the most comfortable and most flattering pair of heels in my wardrobe. From work trips to weddings, I wear them each and every time the event calls for a great pair of heels. Be prepared to see them often.
- I’m currently on the hunt for a bridesmaid dress that feels effortless and timeless. While there’s countless to choose from, I’ve been leaning towards this particular one from Tuckernuck.
- Since I love everything about my black satin wide-leg pants from J. Crew, I decided to pick them up in navy as well. Today only, you can save 50% off on them (making them just $30) and other select sales items when you use the code SPRING!
Cultural Notes
- Unfortunately, I have no plans on going to London this year, but reading about the Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum is the next best thing!
- The world’s interest in Truman Capote lives on with this new off-Broadway play starring Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
- Tips for refreshing your home this Spring with these French cleaning habits.
- A gorgeous new hotel in Kyoto, Japan that has officially been added to my travel bucket list.
- A love letter to red lipstick from Harper’s Bazaar and why it will never go out of style.
